I was watching a documentary on the science of space, and was surprised how easily the scientists lept from talking about measuring space to value judgements on how insignificant we are. The universe is so big, they said, people can't be central or important. I thought, how very opposite! God loves us so much he created this extravagant and vast space for us to exist. That's the kind of big and loving God we have!

If God is so big, why is it so hard to feel close to him sometimes/many times? What's wrong with me, why do I mess up things with the only person that can really help me.
